As creator and co-host, Brad Forsythe brings 30 years of advertising, marketing and media experience to The Advertising Show. Brad began his career in broadcasting at Kansas City's KWKI-FM followed by Century Broadcasting's KSHE-FM in St. Louis and finally in Houston at General Cinema Corp's KRBE-FM. Having fulfilled successful stints at three top-rated major market radio stations, Brad decided to pursue a career in advertising. In 1980 he was hired as an Account Executive with the international advertising firm of Gray, O'Rourke, Sussman/Toronto, Houston, London. While working at Gray, O'Rourke's Houston offices, Forsythe was quickly promoted, rising to the title of Senior Vice President over the next three years.

With a strong entrepreneurial spirit Forsythe is currently leading three successful yet diverse companies. He resigned from Gray, O'Rourke in 1983 to co-found Forsythe & Butler, a full service advertising agency. Honored with numerous industry awards for creative excellence, Forsythe & Butler has built a solid reputation as an outstanding agency creating and executing successful campaigns for a variety of local, regional and national accounts.

Forsythe is also the founder of AdPointDirect, Inc., an innovative technology licensing company. He holds several US Patents for the development of digital media transaction platforms.

Additionally, Brad is creator and co-host of The Advertising Show, America's only globally delivered weekly program focusing on marketing, advertising, branding and media.

As Associate Producer for The Advertising Show, Ariel Santillan burst onto the scene in late 2008. Ariel is accountable for numerous critical tasks including guest scheduling and appearances, administration of the program’s website as well as marketing and website promotion. Ariel manages a majority of the research and content for the program. Her remarkable passion and drive contribute significantly to the success of The Advertising Show.

Ariel is a graduating senior at The University of Texas at Austin and will be receiving a BS in Advertising in the Spring of 2009. A member of the Longhorn Band since 2005, Ariel is in her second year as a Section Leader for the Longhorn Band's color guard section. Her interests include attending festivals and local music venues, traveling and exploring diverse cultures. She is enthusiastic about pursuing a career in the fast-paced advertising industry and plans to travel extensively prior to entering her field of choice. Ariel is currently a member of the Texas Advertising Group (TAG), a student organization at The University of Texas that facilitates the relationship and continual conversation between advertising hopefuls and industry professionals.

Can music drive creative? In a big way, because understanding the tone, rhythm and beat is a big part of Bruce’s DNA and has given him a creative edge in developing several award winning broadcast campaigns for RADIO LOUNGE.

As Creative Director and Partner of RADIO LOUNGE a direct response radio advertising agency, music is not his only strong point. Bruce has spent more than fifteen years in the broadcast industry as a major market radio personality, both terrestrial and satellite, as a creative services director, in addition to operations and marketing. With a BBA from The University of Houston, a Master’s degree in Advertising from The University of Texas in Austin, and Certified Radio Marketing Consultant status from the Radio Advertising Bureau, Bruce has honed his skills in common sense branding strategies, marketing, creative concept development, multimedia and operations, and financial management.

Bruce is also a highly sought after voice actor, with more than a handful of national radio and television spots to his credit. Behind the mic or in dealing with RADIO LOUNGE clients, Bruce’s outspoken personality and attitude help visitors to RADIO LOUNGE “feel the love”.

Beyond the daily business at the RADIO LOUNGE studios, Bruce and his wife Shelley are also busy crafting the next generation of Abbott’s. Shane, now two years old has his own Fender Stratocaster (junior size) and a full blown DJ set up to crank out the best of The Wiggles. Living in Richmond Texas, just down the street from ZZ Top's drummer, the music is sweet and the future looks bright for Mom, Dad and the budding rock star.
