Nielsen’s VP Jeff Hermann Explains How Mobile and Gaming Marketing Opportunities Measure Up

Co-host Brad Forsythe interviews Jeff Herrmann, Vice President of Nielsen Wireless and Nielsen Games.

Jeff Herrmann currently leads two businesses, Nielsen Wireless and Nielsen Games, both part of The Nielsen Company.  Jeff drives Nielsen’s measurement strategy and business/product development in emerging media categories, specifically for the wireless and video game industries.  Nielsen Wireless and Nielsen Games are driving media measurement innovation in emerging media platforms by leveraging a robust intellectual property portfolio, extensive technology infrastructure and a deep foundation in audience measurement and advertising intelligence.

A 10+ year veteran of Nielsen Media Research, Jeff has spent the bulk of his time in business development and product strategy roles focused on emerging media platforms. Jeff’s prior roles include Vice President, Business Development and Strategy for VNU’s Media Measurement & Information (MMI) Group Operations focused on mergers and acquisition, and Vice President, Product Strategy for Nielsen Media’s Local Business Unit.  Jeff has also held sales and development roles with Nielsen//NetRatings, the Internet audience measurement company.

Jeff holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a BA from the School of Journalism and Communications at The Ohio State University.

For entertaining advice join host Ray Schilens and Brad Forsythe for a lively and informative discussion.
