American Advertising Museum's Richard Semenik Describes How Advertising Is Seen Today 

Co-host Brad Forsythe interviews Richard Semenik, Board Director and Curator of the American Advertising Museum.  Richard Semenik is Dean of the College of Business at Montana State University. He is also founder and co-director of the College's Center for Entrepreneurship for the New West. Before coming to Montana Sate, Rich was head of the Marketing Department at the Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Rich's expertise is in the areas of marketing strategy, advertising and branding having consulted with a diverse set of organizations including IBM, Leo Burnett Advertising, Premier Resorts International, PrintingforLess, LigoCyte Pharmaceuticals, and the Van Gogh Museum (Amsterdam). Rich has published more than 50 articles and books on advertising and branding strategy. The most recent book, Advertising and Integrated Brand Promotion, is the leading text in the area used in over 400 colleges and universities in the U.S., Canada and Europe. In 1999, Rich was asked to join the National Board of Directors of the American Advertising Museum and in 2000 he was asked to join the Industry Relations Board of the American Academy of Advertising.
